Hi, Iā€™m Dana

I have a bachelors degree in English from James Madison University (go Dukes!) and a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Social Policy & Practice. I am deeply interested in hearing people's stories and helping them make sense of the world.

I have completed the Postpartum Support International certificate training in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders as well as training and experience in working with individuals with anxiety and depression. I am trained in EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Strengths Based Therapy, and Interpersonal Therapy. I also have the unique experience of working in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit where I worked with the families of many chronic or critically ill children. I have worked with women through all stages of their pregnancy journey.
